Top 5 reasons to visit Q dining

Q Dining

We Sydney-siders love to dine with a view.  It’s one of our simple pleasures and why wouldn’t we with a harbour that stunning?  Few could blame us for wanting to enjoy our own backyard.

Q dining boasts an enviable view of Sydney harbour and that’s certainly one reason to visit.  But  there are many reasons to visit Q dining and we’re going to give you five to start.

Q Dining4

Situated in prime position at East Circular Quay, Q dining is an intimate affair.  With soaring ceilings, striking pendant lighting and floor to ceiling glass windows, it’s an impressive sight.

Whilst the view takes centre stage, the small details are paramount at Q dining.  Everything has been carefully selected to tell a story.  From their specially comissioned ceramic plates (we love their ‘footprint’ plate), to the closh’s sitting in the middle of the tables, each showcasing a touch of Sydney’s yester-year.

Q dining’s attention to detail is also translated into the food with the help of Executive Chef, Daniel Simpson.

It’s fair to say Daniel is passionate about food.  He believes in telling the story of the produce.  The farmers who grow the fare are as important as the cut of the meat and local artisan producers are favoured.

A micro-seasonal menu is offered, showcasing the best locally sourced seafood and meats.  Charcuterie is a specialty and cheese lovers will be impressed with their fromage selection!

Of course, they have not forgotten about the wine! (Phew).  The extensive wine list features drops from around the globe.  In fact, we suggest you enlist the help of your friendly sommelier to narrow down your choices.
