A flood of new restaurants and bars have opened in Sydney this year and I couldn’t be happier. From new wine bars to a restaurant that serves only T-bone steaks, there’s a huge array of new dining spots for us to visit. Hoorah!
Below I count down my top 10 Restaurant and Bar Openings of 2018 (in no particular order). I suggest you make it your mission to visit every last one before the end of the year!

This NYC hot spot is regularly featured on ‘World’s Best Bar’ lists globally and they have finally landed in Sydney! Cocktails are a specialty, along with a NY inspired bistro menu.

Merivale’s take on a Spanish Tapas and Pintxos Bar. Intimate space offering a simple tapas menu, wine and cocktails. A great pre-dinner option. If you can get a seat!

Applejack Hospitality’s newest offering and their first in the CBD. A glamorous space reminiscent of the post World War 2 era. Serving a share style Mediterranean influenced menu.
