Review of The Wine Library
FEATURED IN: TOP 10 WINE BARS
The Wine Library is a sexy neighbourhood wine bar, brought to us by the same people behind one of our old favourite (and now unfortunately defunct) Woollahra restaurants, Buzo.
It’s an inviting little spot, where you will soon be made to feel right at home. Pull up a seat at the bar, or grab your own table if you should be so lucky and settle back to enjoy a relaxed evening.
Goes without saying, wine is the name of the game, with over 350 bottles on offer. It’s going to take you some time to work your way through their extensive wine list. Or, as we often prefer, why not ask the sommelier to offer you some tastings? They are more than happy to oblige and you can tell they take pride in explaining their drops on offer.
Of course, you’re going to want a nibble to accompany your vino of choice and their menu is perfectly suited for the purpose. Think grilled haloumi, charcuterie boards, cheeses, oysters, salads and the like. In fact their food menu is rather extensive and you will be spoilt for choice.
We think The Wine Library offers a sophisticated and relaxed evening. Oh, and good to know it suits wine lovers of all ages. Also we think it’s a great place for a date!
