Just mention the words Chanel or Karl Lagerfeld and it’s enough to send most of us ladies into a spin. If, like me, you’re a fan of this iconic label (my Chanel coffee table book sits proudly in my living room demonstrating my devotion to the brand), you won’t want to miss The Little Black Jacket Exhibition showing now in Sydney.
First created by Garbrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel more than 50 years ago, the classic ‘little black jacket’ remains an essential piece in the Chanel collection and an important item in our wardrobes today (even if most of us are not blessed to own an original Chanel).
To celebrate the release of Karl Lagerfeld’s book ‘The Little Black Jacket: CHANEL’s classic revisited’, a photographic exhibition, showcasing the classic Chanel ‘little black jacket’ is travelling the world, and has just touched down in Sydney.
Housed in a warehouse at Walsh Bay, the exhibition comprises mostly black and white photographs, taken by Karl Lagerfeld himself, featuring celebrities wearing the very same Chanel ‘little black jacket’, with each injecting their own individuality into the styling.
It’s a free event, so why not check it out for yourself soon!
