Review of The Bathers’ Pavilion
FEATURED IN: TOP 10 LUNCH SPOTS
The Bathers’ Pavilion, which was once the old beach changing shed, is set right on the beach at Balmoral and offers stunning views out towards the Heads and Middle Harbour. Take your pick from the glamorous restaurant, to the more laid back cafe. Serge Dansereau is the Owner and Executive Chef.
The restaurant is an elegant space, but retains a relaxed, beachside feel. Open for lunch and dinner, it’s hard to beat that view. The food is Modern Australian, with a seasonal focus with much of their produce coming from small producers and growers. A la carte and degustation menus are offered, along with an extensive wine list, including a ‘small vineyards’ selection.
Should you be looking for a more casual offering, the cafe provides just that, plus you still get that view. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offering all day dining, the menu is Mediterranean.
Whether you choose the restaurant or the cafe, we think The Bathers’ Pavilion is the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy some quality cuisine and soak up that view.
