Every year, we look forward to the return of the St George Open Air Cinema. With a spectacular view of our iconic Sydney Harbour, not to mention a cinema screen which literally rises out of the water, this is a not to be missed Sydney summer event. And, we’re not the only ones who think so, tickets sell out well in advance of screening each year and become highly sought after once the program begins. It’s not hard to see why.
Unlike the Moonlight Cinema, this is not a picnic event. This outdoor cinema has its own bars and restaurants (the Chandon Bar and Good Food restaurants for example) and grandstand seating, so you’re going to want to arrive early to make the most of it.
The 2013 program has been announced. You can click here to view it.
So, get in early and secure your tickets, while you can. General Admission Grandstand Seating Tickets are priced at $32 + booking fee.
Here’s an insider tip – join their mailing list for opportunities to purchase tickets during the season. Just make sure you act fast when extra tickets are announced!
