Review of Saint Peter
Saint Peter is an Australian fish eatery and so you’re going to want to be a seafood lover to truly appreciate this restaurant. They’re serving up sustainably sourced seafood, night after night.
The Paddo restaurant has a minimalist yet warm feel with exposed brick walls, dark timbers and comfortable leather banquette seating.
You will most likely find Chef and Owner Josh Niland (ex est., The Fat Duck and Fish Face) in the kitchen, serving up a menu which changes daily according to the best available seafood.
They’re so serious about seafood at Saint Peter that they even custom built a cool room which allows them to dry-age their fish to intensify the flavours. Chef Niland takes a nose to tail approach to his cooking, so don’t be surprised to see dishes such as John Dory liver or Deep Fried Mulloway scales on the menu.
On weekends they also serve a brunch menu, which we think is best paired with a glass of Australian sparkling or a beer.
We think a visit (or three) to Saint Peters is a must for seafood lovers! Just be sure to secure a reservation!
