Review of Rosetta Ristorante
Celebrity Chef Neil Perry brings us top notch Italian cuisine at his Sydney restaurant Rosetta Ristorante. (Note he also has a sister restaurant in The Crown in Melbourne).
The interior in the Sydney establishment is impressive to say the least. While the soaring ceilings and huge windows provide oodles of natural light, warm woods, soft velvets and shiny brass amp up the wow factor. This is one interior sure to impress.
In addition to the main restaurant (which includes a semi private mezzanine level which can seat up to 60 guests), there is also an alfresco Terrace and Bar, which offers its own all day bar menu. But back to that later.
In the main restaurant, the food menu consists of Perry’s favourite regional Italian recipes and has been inspired by his travels through Italy. Italian staples such as seafood and veal feature prominently in dishes including antipasti, pasta and secondi.
The wine list showcases different Italian regions and includes classic drops and some more diverse options.
The all day bar menu offered on the Terrace is more casual and includes 2 of Perry’s famous pizzas, along with apertivos, cocktails and wine of course! The Terrace is the place to be on a sunny afternoon!
I think Rosetta Ristorante is well suited to corporate lunches and dinners and is also a top spot for a cheeky mid-week date night, or a catch up with your BFF. Whether you’re looking for a more formal meal in the main restaurant, or a casual bite on the Terrace, Rosetta Ristorante fits the bill.
