Wine. One of my favourite things in the whole wide world. Seriously, I often find myself thinking, as I enjoy a glass of wine and a fabulous meal, does it get any better than this? I’m not sure that it does.
The NSW Wine Festival runs from 25 February – 31 March 2012, and there are a number of ways you can get involved.
The Festival, kicks off this weekend (25-26 February) with the hugely popular Sydney Cellar Door event, held in Hyde Park. Wines will be available from 90 different wineries, showcasing 14 wine regions. The event also features scrumptious food stalls from your favourites such as Porteno, Almond bar and the Hunter Valley Cheese Company. There will also be live music. What more could you want?
Tour of the Regions Dinner – Wine Region Dinners are being held as part of the Festival, with hatted restaurants such as Otto Ristorante, Buon Ricordo, Marque and Sepia participating.
NSW Wine of the Month – Some of our hottest eating and drinking hotspots such as Baxter Inn, Bootleg Bar & Italian Food, Gazebo, Manly Wine, The Owl House, Zeta Bar, Neild Avenue and many more will be offering a NSW Wine of the Month.
