Review of Glass Brasserie
FEATURED IN: TOP 10 PRE-THEATRE RESTAURANTS
Restaurants located inside hotels can be hit and miss. You never quite know what you’re going to get. But, trust us, the restaurant hidden inside the Hilton Sydney is all hit and no miss.
Hilton Sydney is home to Luke Mangan‘s award winning Glass Brasserie. A long time favourite, this restaurant has been going strong for years.
Frequented by corporates for power lunches and dinners, hotel guests and locals, the crowd varies, but, the quality of the food and service does not.
The restaurant itself is a classy joint. It’s simple, chic and elegant. Mounds of glass and shiny metal, complement the high ceilings and picture windows, with a rather glorious view of the Queen Victoria Building from the wine bar. Understated glamour is effortlessly achieved. They are not trying too hard, but rather let the food and the service speak for itself.
The menu is comprehensive. If you’re like us, it’s going to take you some time to decide. The food continues in the theme of elegance and simplicity.
Good to remember, the Glass Wine Bar, with its amazing view of the QVB is a fabulous option for drinks and nibbles. It’s somewhat of a well kept secret, and certainly an option if Zeta Bar is too busy and loud for your liking.
