The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room‘s famous Crab Carnival is back for another year and it’s bigger and better than ever!
Chef Sean Connelly has crafted a crabby menu and they’re serving up whole mud crabs, bibs and utensils provided!
Some of our favourites on the menu, are the Mac N’ Crab, Alaskan king crab served with macaroni, breadcrumbs and triple cheese sauce, the Crab Ravioli, Crab claw and ricotta ravioli served with a curry sauce, salmon roe and chives and the Crab Risotto, Golden king crab, marscapone, parmesan, chives and lemon. While the whole Chilli Mud Crab is served with Sean’s hot sauce and coriander.
To compliment their food menu, they’ve created a bespoke crabby cocktail list. We loved the Manly Lady, a twist on a White Lady Martini, with gin and lemon myrtle leaves. But you might prefer to share the Crab Rose Sangria or perhaps the Kereru Salty Seaweed Ale is more your style.
Oh, and good to know Monday and Thursdays are Steam Pot Nights where they’re serving crab steam pots, and don’t forget Wednesday’s they offer $1 oysters in the main bar between 6 – 7 pm.
