Review of Coogee Pavilion
Merivale have completely transformed the iconic beachside Coogee Pavilion and it’s about time.
With its spot on laid back beachy interior, Coogee Pavilion offers three levels to enjoy, including a spectacular rooftop and we think it fits the bill any time of day.
The ground floor offers casual share-style dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Think seafood, grilled meats, salads and pizzas, along with organic juices, coffee and cocktails of course. For the young and young at heart you’ll be interested in checking out their games room, but the Rooftop is where you’ll be most likely to find us.
The Rooftop offers four indoor and outdoor bars and serves up a Mediterranean menu, along with stunning ocean views. Jordan Toft is behind the food having previously worked under the acclaimed Peter Doyle of est. Not bad credentials. Oh, and of course you won’t be going thirsty with the Rooftop offering their own cocktail menu and wine list.
Naturally, ‘The Pav’ is at it’s best in Summer! This is a quintessential Sydney pub in my opinion. You just can’t beat those ocean views.
