Review of Button Bar
Ahoy mateys… Button Bar is brought to us by the same chaps behind Stitch and Pocket Bars but pirates rule in this small bar.
The dim interior is warm and inviting and its not hard to see why it’s become a favourite local haunt for many Sydney-siders. There’s plenty of seating, both booth and communal style and the vibe is spot on. Though the pirate theme is evident, it doesn’t overwhelm the space.
In terms of the food they’ve kept it simple. You’ve got a cheese board or all night pizza to kerb the munchies.
But, the drinks are where they really shine. The cocktail list is huge and reasonably priced with the names certainly playing up to the pirate theme. There’s a nice beer selection, ciders and wine too of course. In terms of the spirits – the list is endless with rum, whiskys, bourbons and tequila featuring prominently.
It’s the kind of place where you can pull up a seat at the bar and easily work your way through their menu. In fact, we’re pretty sure you could get lost in here for hours.
This place really is cute as a button!
