Urban Chic Happy Hour wrap-up, Friday, 20 July 2012
The very first Urban Chic Happy Hour was held on Friday night, at the White Horse Hotel in Surry Hills. Well over 50 people enjoyed the evening, embracing our simple concept of getting people together to drink, share and enjoy. That’s what it’s all about now, isn’t it?
The private lounge area at the White Horse Hotel created the perfect atmosphere to host the event:
Guests arrived from 7.30pm, and stayed well into the night. People arrived alone, in pairs, in groups. Once there, guests mingled, chatted and socialised. We had people from Australia, Germany, France, UK, USA, China, India – you name it. But, a common ground was shared by all – a love of a good time, a glass of wine (or beer, or a cocktail, or vodka – you get the drift), and an openness to making a new friend or three.

Judging by the positive feedback we’ve been receiving, it seems our guests enjoyed the evening as much as we did! What a great bunch of people!
