We love the small bar phenomenon which has been happening over the past few years and turning Sydney into, well, more like Melbourne when it comes to the small bar scene. We’ve seen some fantastic small bars popping up all over our city and suburbs.

- Sticky Bar
Level 2, 182 Campbell Street, Surry Hills
A small bar before there were small bars in Sydney, this bar has been going strong since 2008, and has relied purely on word of mouth advertising. Brought to you by the guy behind Table for 20. Hidden down a dodgy lane, and up some even dodgier stairs, no sign, you get the picture.

1 Temperance Lane, Sydney
A very small bar, located down an obligatory unsavory alley, just off George Street with a neighbourhood feel. Mismatched furniture, drinks served in jam jars, and a dining room located conveniently upstairs.
