As the weather cools, we always look forward to warming up with our favourite winter dishes.  None so more comforting than the traditional Sunday roast.  Check out our Top 10 list of restaurants (in no particular order) serving up delicious Sunday Roasts:

  1. Concrete Blonde *Note restaurant now closed
    33 Bayswater Road, Kings Cross
    Every Sunday from midday till late, Concrete Blonde serves up a Sunday Roast.  The menu changes regularly and costs $48 for 3 courses.  Don’t forget it’s also BYO on Sunday.

  2. The Bucket List
    The Bondi Pavilion, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach
    The Bucket List serves up a roast every Sunday – all day for only $19.  The menu varies, so check out their Facebook page for the menu on a Thursday or Friday before the Sunday.

  3. Botanic Gardens Restaurant
    Mrs Macquaries Road, Sydney
    Serving up a rotating menu of roast beef, chicken, pork and turkey with hearty vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and condiments for $30 ($35 including a glass of wine), between 12 – 3pm every Sunday during winter.  They’ll even give you complimentary blankets, so you can cuddle up by the open fire.

  4. East Village Hotel
    234 Palmer Street, Darlinghurst
    Every Sunday from midday – until they run out.  The menu rotates between Crispy Pork Belly and Hereford Beef - and yes, it’s served with Yorkshire pudding and roast vegetables.  Only $20.

  5. Four in Hand
    105 Sutherland Street, Paddington
    Every Sunday from 12pm until they run out, in the Bar only, a Roast Pork Belly is served for $22.  No bookings, and it gets busy, so get in early!  They even do a whole roast Pork Belly plus trimmings for groups of 10 people (available with at least 24 hours notice).

  6. Taphouse

    Taphouse serves up a Sunday roast, with a changing menu, for $30.

  7. The Tilbury
    12 – 18 Nicholson Street, Woolloomooloo
    Every Sunday from 12 – 5pm, the Tilbury serves up a rotating menu.  1st Sunday – Chicken with bread sauce, 2nd Sunday – Lamb with mint sauce, 3rd Sunday – Beef with Yorkshire pudding, 4th Sunday – Pork with apple sauce & crackling.  Prices vary, but are around the $35 mark.

    Every Sunday a roast is served.  Menu changes regularly – from $24.

    The Paddo Arms has been serving a Sunday roast since the beginning.  Every Sunday – lunch 12 – 4pm, dinner 5.30 – 10pm.  Menu changes weekly – only $24.
