The Island is a floating bar located somewhere in Sydney Harbour.

To arrive at The Island, you catch a boat from Rose Bay Wharf.  It’s about an 8 minute trip, and just enough time to enjoy the spectacular views of the Harbour en route to your oasis.

The bar is cool.  It’s euro-beach style, complete with cabana’s and day beds.  The views of Sydney harbour are spectacular, and the open air, floating bar provides the perfect setting for a chilled afternoon.

Our drink of choice is always Moet – Island style – complete with ice and fruit.

We often wonder if this is perhaps the best way to enjoy a Sydney summer afternoon.  Certainly could be worse.

Simply pre-purchase your ticket ($40 includes return water taxi plus drink on arrival) to the Beach Club online prior to your visit, you can also book daybeds and cabanas.  Click here to book tickets.
