Brand spanking new shopping centre.  Home to a huge range of brands – flagship stores for Gucci, Prada, Mui Mui, Zara, Gap and many others.  Check out the food court on level 5, but be warned – this is no ordinary food court. Charlie & Co. Burgers, the Cloudy Bay Fish Shop - expect high quality food, from famous Australian chefs.  Also worth a look is the restaurant precinct on level 6.

Gloriously charming, character filled arcarde.  First opened in 1892, and retaining its original charm today.  Now home to high end brands such as Alex Perry, Allanah Hill, The Corner store, Manning Cartel and two of Sydney’s best Italian Restaurants – Pendolino and La Rosa.

The Queen Victoria Building (or QVB as it’s affectionatly referred to by the locals) was first opened in 1898.  A stunning piece of elaborate Romanesque architecture, it’s well worth a visit, even if you’re not a shopper.

Oxford Street, Darlinghurst, Paddington & Woollahra
Oxford Street, starting at Darlinghurst (near Hyde Park in the City), going through Paddington and ending in Woollahra is dotted with an array of small boutiques, chain stores, restaurants, cafes, bookstores, record stores and fetish shops.  Meander along and you’re sure to find your thing.  The Paddington Markets are on every Saturday (10am – 5pm), at 395 Oxford Street, Paddington.
