Since I Left You
‘Since I left you’…sounds like the title for a memoir….
Since I Left You is another one of these Melbourne style lane-way bars, which have been popping up in Sydney over the past two years. This bar, tucked away in a cobblestone lane-way off Kent Street, is a 1920′s themed Art Deco cocktail lounge. The bar is dark, slick and minimalist.
The service is friendly, and the bar has an intimate feel. It’s the kind of classy establishment where you can sit and chat without the need to strain your vocal cords. These days, these are the kinds of bars we are leaning towards.
Of course, there is a cocktail menu, plus a wine list and a selection of beers, as well as a food menu, offering olives, dips, antipasto and cheese plates and the like.
To us, this bar is the perfect weeknight pre or post dinner option, offering a fitting beginning or end to an enjoyable evening.

This looks like a great venue to chill out on a Friday or Saturday night. Sure beats the noisy atmosphere of The Loft. It kinda reminds me of the Art House down on Pitt Street. Perhaps you’ll be doing a cover story on that sometime soon?
