Redfern scores another star venue in Kepos Street Kitchen. In the old Strangers with Candy site, Michael Rantissi is serving up his take on Mediterranean dishes with a Middle Eastern twist.
The light filled decor is smartly casual and the vibe relaxed, but this place is really about the food. And, it’s that good.
Offering innovative Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus, there is a clear focus on utilising quality local produce and ingredients. The coffee is good, as are the mocktails and we love that it’s not your average cookie cutter cafe fare. The flavours and the freshness of the dishes are out of this world. You’ll see.
The service is genuinely warm and friendly and the love of food by all staff is clear to see.
We think it’s a winner.
