Grain Bar 2

Five star hotels are a new hot-spot for trendy bars and restaurants with The Four Seasons Grain Bar being a perfect example.

Grain Bar boasts a view of George Street from its open air frontage which is perfect for people watching.  The decor is warm, low lit and very sexy.  Grain Bar oozes class and with plenty of seating and intimate spaces it suits groups and couples alike.

Their extensive wine list features Australian and international wines and they offer a selection of craft beers, but we think their cocktails are where they really shine.  Offering a twist on the classics it’s obvious these bar tenders are passionate about their drinks.

The snack menu shows respect for simple ingredients and flavours and is perfect for pre or post dinner nibbles, or even a light dinner.  However, should hunger strike and you’re looking for a more substantial dinner spot, just head right next door to Pei Modern in The Four Seasons.

We think Grain Bar is a top pick for an after work drink.  In fact, we’ll visit any time of day.  It’s always wine o’clock somewhere…
