Gowings Bar & Grill is located inside the quirky art design hotel QT Sydney.
Well known Sydney restaurateur Robert Marchetti (you may remember him from such establishments as North Bondi Italian Food and Neild Avenue) is behind the European Brasserie concept, which has a focus on rotisserie meats and seafood.
You may like to commence your evening by having a drink in their bar, which is a glamorous space and the perfect introduction to the restaurant.
When you’re ready for dinner, you’ll be met with a large open kitchen framed by glitzy bronze lights with hand painted plates adorning the walls and ceiling. It hits the mark with the eclectic designer vibe that QT Sydney does so well.
The extensive food menu is a little overwhelming at first, but much more easily digested (pun intended) when you break it down into sections and they’ve made it easy for you to do so. You have everything from raw fish, to rotisserie birds, to wood oven pizzas, to steaks. We can tell you now, you are going to struggle to make your choices. First world problems…
Oh, and if you feel like a nightcap – just head upstairs to Gilt Lounge.
