If you’re looking for something to do on Saturday, 28 April – we have a great idea for you! Why not book a seat at the Cumulus Estate Wines’ Limited Table event?
The event, to be held from 2 – 5pm on Saturday, 28 April, is part of the Sydney A+ Australian Wine Celebration calendar, which is happening from 12 – 29 April.
Limited Table (exclusive food adventures) has teamed up with Cumulus Estate Wines’ winemaker, Debbie Lauritz, to present a wine making masterclass. The masterclass will focus on that elusive grape variety - Merlot.
Under the expert guidance of Debbie Lauritz, you will assist her to create the perfect 2011 Cumulus Merlot. The masterclass will be run in groups, encouraging friendly competition, with awards and prizes up for grabs on the day. Not to mention bragging rights that you were part of the winemaking team when the wine is released later in the year.
Never fear if Merlot is not your thing, Cumulus Estate Wines will be showcasing a range of their new wines at the event, and these will be expertly matched with some of NSW’s best local produce. Not only will you learn a thing or two about wine, you will also be taught how to shuck an oyster like an expert, not to mention expand on your wine and cheese matching skills when you meet Claudia Bowman, a leading cheesemonger.
