Crave Sydney International Food Festival – 1 – 31 October 2012
One event we eagerly anticipate each year on the Sydney food festival circuit is the Crave Sydney International Food Festival. Held for the entire month of October, it is the ultimate ‘foodie festival’.
The 2012 program lineup has just been announced, and we’re starting to get excited!
Showcase events include:
- World Chef Showcase

On 14 October, a breakfast is held on Bondi Beach, put on by Sydney’s ‘Breakfast King’, Bill Granger.. It’s a free event, but you can also book VIP tickets. Click here to book tickets. - Barbeque Madness
On 6 October, the Aussie Barbeque is celebrated at a host of pubs and venues around Sydney, at very reasonable prices. Click here for the program. - Night Noodle Markets
Hyde Park is transformed into the ultimate Asian-hawker style market, with food stalls, bars and entertainment. Held weeknights, until 19 October. Click here for more information. - Shoot the Chef
Shoot the Chef is a unique competition, where students and professional photographers literally ’shoot the chef’. The finalists’ photographs will be displayed in an exhibition on Level 6 at Westfield Sydney.
