In the words of Lily Bollinger: “I only drink Champagne when I’m happy, and when I’m sad. Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone. When I have company, I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I am not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise I never touch it – unless I’m thirsty.”
I’ve somewhat lived my life so far by that mantra, and it continues to serve me well. Champagne – tiny golden bubbles of liquid heaven. Ah, Champagne. I love to drink it. Let’s face it, I’d bathe in it if I could, but, what do I really know about it?
Introducing Kyla, aka The Champagne Dame.
Kyla’s love of Champagne has taken her to that very region of France, where she has worked with the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group. As you may know, they sprout some of the most exquisite Champagne brands such as Moet & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Dom Perignon… and my all time favourite – Krug.
Well read and well connected, Kyla knows a thing or two about the sparkling good stuff and she loves nothing more than sharing her love and knowledge – in the form of her Champagne Master Classes.
Held in exclusive venues, these Champagne Master Classes treat you to a close up look of our near and dear friend – from opening the bottle, to chilling, serving, storing and of course, our favourite, tasting
